Katherine Asia Hibbs (Kate) is a 10 year old pianist born on 19 April 2013, in Geneva Switzerland. She is Swiss, French, and American.

Kate has studied classical piano since age 4 with Dr. Jo Anne Link, of Crocus Hills Studios in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. In Jan 2023, Kate and her family moved to Singapore. She also studies piano with the head of the keyboard division, Professor Albert Tiu, at the Singapore National University, YST Conservatory.

Kate is the first prize winner of Little Mozart International Piano Competition at Carnegie Hall 2022 and Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso Austria 2022.

She is the platinum medalist of Quebec Music Competition 2022.

Also the second prize winner of numerous competitions including American Protégé 2022, International Grand Music Competition 2022, Artciál International Piano Competition San Francisco 2022, Singapore International Music Competition 2022, Frost Young Artist Piano Competition Miami, and reward of Best Baroque Performance.

Kate has made it to the final round of HongKong/Macau Regional of 11th Steinway and Sons International Youth Piano Competition China with finalist to appear in Shanghai in December.

This past summer, Kate was invited to the Music Fest Perugia Italy where she made her concerto debut with the Orchestra Europe Musica, conducted by Eitan Globerson. She performed the first movement of Mozart’s Concerto in A Major, K.488 and she has received great critical acclaim.

Kate has travelled from Asia to major European cities and throughout the United States. Her passions, in addition to piano, include playing chess, and speaking multiple languages. She loves drawing, arts and crafts, and enjoys playing with her friends.
