About the event
The Young Musician I & II age categories kick off the Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition with a day of thrilling, moving Chopin performances on Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, from a group of the world's best young pianists from around the world and country, competing for the NICPC's $50,000 in prizes including the $20,000 Alexei Sultanov Memorial Discovery Prize, the competition's highest honor. Jury member and internationally acclaimed pianist Pavel Nersessian rounds out the first day with a highly-anticipated recital at 8:00 pm. The action heats up on day two as the Artist category takes to the stage on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at 8:30 am, performing the great masterpieces of Chopin's works. The Awards Ceremony and Winner's Concert close out the competition at 8:15 pm on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023. Tickets can be purchased for sessions, evening events, single-day, or all-event access.
