Joshua Izzard is an American musician, investor, and technology finance executive. As a pianist, he debuted to critical acclaim in Carnegie Hall before receiving his MA from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and was an international competition prizewinner. He went on to earn an MBA in quantitative finance and accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he also taught corporate finance and investments. After leaving music due to a hand injury, he embarked on a career as an M&A investment banker, portfolio manager at a long-short strategy hedge fund, and technology industry finance executive. His diverse business interests include a classical music management company and he serves as Chief Strategy Officer of the largest micromobility rental company in the USA, Unagi Scooters.
Joshua is also the Administrative Director of the Chopin in Cyprus International Music Festival featuring some of the greatest Chopin interpreters of our time.
